It has been handstitched and has a white leather tie that allows for the bag to be worn as a necklace or can be placed in a pocket or purse.  Pouches are widely used by Pueblo Indians to store many things.  They can be medicine bags that carry personal amulets like fetishes, arrowheads, etc.. or can be a pouch to carry cornmeal used to make offerings.  These pouches can be used for an array of things personal to the owner.
