Hopi Basket Handwoven Natural Reed

Hopi Basket Handwoven Natural Reed.  This basket was made by A. Qootsyamptewa who lives in Second Mesa, Arizona using local reeds that were collected, prepared, and then delicately woven into a vibrant reed basket.  Baskets are used for many purposes in Pueblo communities.  They are given as gifts, used in dance and during ceremonies and feast days.  This beautiful basket will make an excellent addition to your personal collection.  Can be displayed on a wall, or on a table.  It may also be used.
